20 good things we have done with our kids recently.

We have done some things with our kids lately that have proven pretty successful, so we thought we might add links to help you plan the coming holidays.

Walks our family love;

• Walk to Henry Head from Le Perouse (30 minutes from the city)

• Cave Creek Walking trail (near ColoVale) (45 Minutes from the city heading south)

• Jellybean pool from Glenbrook - Swimming optional (about an hour from the city)

• Great North walk from Crosslands Reserve along Berowra Creek (Out and back) bonus swimming opportunity.

• Closer to home try the Wolli Creek Regional Park walks. Short road trips we frequent;

• Bilpin, maybe extend through to Mount Wilson and Mount Irvine. And circle back through to the Bakery in Glenbrook.

• A quick trip to Spencer and The Anchor Cafe on the Hawkesbury.

• The Kiama Blowholes, beach and lighthouse

• For the cost of some tolls, get lost in all the new tunnels and freeways that have popped up.   Freebies in the City

• The Art Gallery

• Walk/ride across the Harbour Bridge and visit the Pylon Museum

• Take a walk around Lavender Bay and Wendy Whiteley's Secret Garden.

• Walk or ride the Botany Bay Foreshore (stopping at Le Promenade Patiserie)

• Do a scavenger hunt around the city Food places to try

• Brooklyn Boy Bagles - The Pastrami is smashing

• Croissants from 27Three Boulangerie, Petersham

•  Head north or south for a Heatherbrae's pie (Great as a part of a road trip)

Of course you could always book a canoe or kayak to paddle Wolli Creek and Cooks River, or Come along on one of our Guided paddles.
