Away from it all

Hire a canoe or kayak and paddle away. Paddling from Kendrick Park, it easy to reach into the heart of Wolli Creek, which, though surrounded by the city is a secluded journey through overhanging Mangroves. You will feel so far away. You can go for an hour or all day. Take one of our snacking or picnic packs and let the river bank glide past.

A fitness journey

If you want to push yourself physically then you can set a target distance out and return.  Kendrick park to Illawarra Rd is a solid 1 Hr paddle. Depending upon tides and who you are paddling with.  As you get better you can add a run into Tempe basin before or after.

Adding some sprints between landmarks can really improve your cardio fitness.
